Hi! It's been awhile since I've been in the blogging business, but starting right now I am back in. I'm starting nursing school August 19 and I hear it is quite time consuming, so I thought I would let you know what's going on with my life here. Not that I plan on becoming a total recluse (any more so than normal anyway ;) ) but still, this is where you can find me if I'm nowhere to be found.

My first class doesn't start for 21 days, and I am getting antsy. It's been a couple of years since I've been interested in my schooling, but I can feel the excitement starting to build already. I still have a few things to get, such as books and a lab coat, and I am sure they will add a couple other items at orientation, but I am mostly ready supply-wise. I have my scrubs, stethoscope and bandage scissors. The most exciting thing, however, is that I finally have a desk. It's been two years since I've had one of those as well. It's white and still empty because I haven't unboxed all my desk stuff yet, but it feels like a major milestone or something. I know that's dorky, but I love having a desk. I actually have somewhere to sit in my room other than on the bed.

Well, I have to work in the morning and so I should go (I have to be up in six hours), but I will be back sometime soon.
